TOPIC: HIS DESIRES ARE TOWARD ME
TEXT: Songs of Solomon 7:10-8:4
10 I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me. 11 Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages. 12 Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.13 The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

INTRODUCTION TEXT
Our scripture passage today goes on to express the affections shared by the two lovers who cherished the times spent together. They desired to be with each other.
This typically exemplifies the type of friendship we are expected to enjoy with Jesus. His desires are always towards us and when our own desires meet with His, our appetite for the world and its glories will die, and we can thenceforth, live in the new creation realities.
Prayer: O Lord my God, there is no doubt your desires are toward me, help me to see nothing else in this world except you. Help me to also see everything through your own eyes, Amen!
