Verse 1 

Nka bụ oge ekpere, 

Ayi biar'igbu ikpere, 

Ayi nile bu ndi-nmehie; 

Nuru olu-ayi.  

Verse 2 

Mgb'ochie nmehien di uto, 

Obi-ayi di aghugho, 

Ihe nile joro njo: 

Nuru olu-ayi.  

Verse 3 

Ma ugbu a ayi dum nanu 

Olu ukwu Kraist luru, 

K'O si cho ndi fur'efu: 

Nur olu-ayi.  

Verse 4 

Site n'Okwu O kwuru, 

N'ihi Okpara O bu, 

N'ihi onwu nk'O nwuru: 

Nuru olun ayi.  

Verse 5 

Kwa'ubochi k'ayi nanwa 

Irap'uzo Ekwensu, 

K'ayi so Kraist na okwu-Ya: 

Nuru  olu-ayi.  

Verse 6 

Ayi zubere ez'ihe, 

Ma ih'ojo k'ayi neme; 

Biko, mer'ayi ebere: 

Nuru olu-ayi.

Nedu ayi nim'uwa nka, 

Ka mgbe ayi nile gala, 

K'ayi rue ulo-I n'udo, Nna:
