Verse 1

Gi bu Uzo–Ọ bu na Gi

K’ayi nagbanari njọ;

Onye o bula gacho Nna,

Gacho Ya nime Gi.

Verse 2

Gi b’Ezi-okwu–okwu-Gi

Nenye amam-ihe;

Gi nwer’ike inye uche,

Me k’obi di ọcha.

Verse 3

Gi b’ezi Ndu–nbilite-Gi

Nekwusa nmeri-Gi;

Ndi tukwasiri Gi obi

Gbanari onwu.

Verse 4

Gi b’Uzo, Ez’okwu, na Ndu;

K’ayi mar’Uzo ahu,

Jid’Ez’okwu, new Ndu ahu,

N’onu ebigh-ebi.   Amen.
